WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY...   


"When I started working with a trainer, I really did not expect the results I
got. I just wanted to build my upper body strength so I would not get old
muscles faster than my age! Not only has my upper strength improved but
after 3 months time I had lost 2 clothes sizes and have "dents" in my waist
now where it used to be straight. I guess they call that a little curve.

I also had rotator cuff surgery a year in a half ago and was planning to get
my other shoulder done as well because of the annoying pain. I no longer
have pain in my arm that did not have surgery and I think my other arm has
improved as well since I can wash the car and scrub my floor without being
in pain for the rest of the day!! Not that I like doing those things.

Now that I have worked out with Kristi for almost 7 full months, I have lost
another size in clothes and have lost 9#. She is motivational and makes me
feel good. My plan was to go twice a week for 3 months and then drop to once a week and do the rest on my own. But I feel like I need her moral support to get me through the week. She feels like a daughter to me and I love listening to her say "Oh shut up" when I tell her a hard to believe story.

I am thinking about getting some training to be a personal trainer because she inspires me. I don't want to do her job but maybe the knowledge and skills I gain can help me with my job as a diabetes educator and I can help people with their basic exercise plans or contemplating exercise plans!!!
She is the best (and only) trainer I have had. But I work with 5 trainers on
my job and none compare to her. It would be hard to find someone to fill her shoes so I hope she stays in business. I am trying hard to recruit new
people since I truly believe in her skills and passion for fitness.

Thank you Kristi for your belief in me and encouragement to keep going even though sometimes I could not walk very well afterwards. You do a great job and are in a perfect profession for your personality. See you soon."

"I feel a lot stronger, and I'm just now starting to feel leaner too. It's been fun to actually "feel" results. Previously I'd really only been doing cardio and it seems that since I've added Kristi's program, I've been seeing results a lot faster now that I'm doing weights along with the cardio.

I see definition in my arms, I'm starting to feel results in the thigh area as well. That's the part of my body I've always tried to hide. They've always been loose, the lunges and squats Kristi has me do are starting to tighten that area.

I feel like I've learned a lot from Kristi. I had basically no knowledge of how to train with weights previously. (as a woman) I was worried that I would bulk up. Kristi's explanations of how the training works and effects my body, helps out the metabolism, and why it WON'T bulk me up, have been clear and proven true. After a few weeks, I am also feeling more confident about my form and training correctly when I work out on my own. Kristi is
always checking to see if the weight we're using is appropriate, and she always knows when to add or subtract weight as needed. I feel like I learn something new every week with her sessions.

I haven't had a lot of other experience with personal training. I'd gone to a guy once at a local gym years ago, I left the place so sore I couldn't lift my arms to the steering wheel to drive home, OR move for 3 days after. Not to mention the fact that they tried to do such a "hard sell" on me and make me commit to a lot right then and there. That had turned me off I think. With Kristi's program, sure I felt a little sore, but in a good way. Made me feel like I was really doing something, and I'm never miserable the next day. I'm sure it depends on the trainer, but for me personally, I like training with a woman (Kristi). I just feel like she can relate to the female body and the areas that I'm trying to work on. Plus, I don't feel any "hard sell pressure" from her. She's very flexible. I plan to continue my sessions.

I began going to Kristi after some health problems, and I could not work out, for nearly a year previously. Kristi was very in touch with my personal and physical needs and limits, and started me out slow, as much as I could handle. After 20 sessions, I was stronger, and felt 100x better than the first time I went to her. "Well, we're 3 months into our career of creating a better me.  Thus far I've gone down a pants size, though there hasn't been an appreciable weight loss.  But I look much trimmer, feel great, and know that I'm much stronger.

During our recent trip, which involved a great deal of climbing and walking on uneven surfaces, I was especially grateful for the work we've been doing on balance.

Over the past several years I have sporadically worked with a personal trainer.  None have had Kristi's depth of knowledge about body and muscle functions, nor have they had the ability to vary the routine enough to keep me from becoming bored and quitting.

Would I recommend Kristi?  As they say in Minnesota, you betcha!"
